As Fassmer Service, we guarantee our customers around the globe the highest level of safety for their LSA equipment – and this can only be achieved with well-trained and committed technicians who constantly expand and improve their expertise.
Therefore, training our own technicians is of course just as important to us as regular training sessions – here in Germany – for our more than 50 authorised service stations worldwide (at least once every 3 years).
They form a team of more than 300 trained service technicians who are available for you at any time and any place, quickly and affordably. Our technicians usually identify themselves with our Fassmer ID card, which is valid for a maximum of 3 years.
Being able to provide high-quality lifesaving equipment is the result of careful work and countless precise steps taken by various individuals with specific expertise. Our technicians are highly-skilled experts and speak perfect English, which enables them to communicate with pretty-much all international customers. Their meticulous work and commitment ensure that you can always count on utmost reliability, planning security and flexibility.
Basic and advanced knowledge of different types of Fassmer products like lifeboats, release gears, davits, winches, accommodation ladders and gangways. In addition to that we will work on the actual topics release gear modification and re-hooking in view of MSC.1/Circ. 1392.
The practical part transfers a basic knowledge of GRP repairs in our new workshop, release gear adjustment and modification, re-hooking, work on winches and inspection procedure of yearly and
5 yearly service on original Fassmer boats at our training facility at the MariKom training school in Elsfleth.
